Netfork was established thanks to financial support from the EU’s program Erasmus+ and Agency for International Programs for Youth who is managing this Programme in Latvia. Erasmus+ is the EU’s programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life. It offers mobility, cooperation and learning opportunities to individuals and organisations from all over the world.

Project partners

Baroots is an association that was initially founded in 2019, in Latvia, solely to explore innovative aspects of food in the context of social impact. Nonetheless, as the time went by, the scope of work expanded and members of the association are now curious and work with exploring all novel approaches that can be implemented for improvements in the society.

Formally the organization has little experience, but the members come with their personal 15+ years of knowledge and skills in international projects, social impact field and various levels of education.

GNU-International APS was born in 2020 from the idea of a group of young people active in the cultural, teaching and social field with the mission of overcoming social and cultural barriers that still exist in Italy. In its first years of activity, the organization has focused its effort on online activities.

In this regard, a cycle of streaming interviews and workshops have been held by GNU members and consultants dedicated to debating on rebuilding strategies in post-Covid time and promoting strategic tools to enhance well-being and social skills.

Story of Youth Empowerment Center tracks back to 2015, when the refugee crisis in Greece begun. Their active participation in the solidarity movement which arouse in Greece not only gave them useful experiences, but also created the sparkle to fight for a different society, which promotes the values of volunteering, solidarity and the principles of communality.

Today it is a non-governmental organisation which targets on implementing quality youth work in local level, while creating space and opportunities for every young person to express and develop themselves according to their needs, with respect on diversity of others and the 17 Goals of Sustainable Development of the United Nations.
